Nexxt Spine LLC is restructuring its top leadership, promoting Ryan Campion to chief Strategy and Development officer (CSDO); elevating Tom O’Hara to chief commercial officer (CCO); appointing Chief People Officer (CPO) Susan Hofer to the executive leadership team; and hiring Todd Puckett as chief operating officer. All four managers report to President/CEO Andy Elsbury.

“Our growth in the past two years has been driven by commercial execution, new product introductions, and hiring of key team members,” Elsbury stated. “Our next growth phase includes footprint expansion of the headquarters, expansion into new product segments, and continuing to hire additional team members across all aspects of the business.”

Ryan Campion
Campion joined Nexxt Spine in April 2023 as vice president of Strategy & Corporate Development. He will continue to oversee marketing, strategy, regulatory, clinical, market access and reimbursement, and corporate development. In his expanded role, Campion will lead Nexxt Spine’s expansion into new product segments and categories.

Before joining Nexxt Spine, Campion held multiple leadership roles at Dentsply Sirona, Zimmer Biomet, and multiple early-stage startups. He earned a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering from Marquette University and completed the Biodesign Executive Education program at Stanford University.

Tom O’Hara
O’Hara was hired in April 2023 (along with Campion) as vice president Sales Operations. He will continue to manage sales, sales operations, and business development, but now will also lead the company’s expansion into new U.S. and international regions.

Prior to his Nexxt Spine tenure, O’Hara held multiple commercial leadership roles at SeaSpine, Spinal Elements, and Stryker Spine. He also founded and ran a successful distributorship, InMotion Medical Inc. O’Hara earned a bachelor of arts degree in public affairs and administration from Oklahoma University and completed the AOA-Kellogg Leadership Series, Finance program at Rice University Jesse Jones Graduate School of Management, and the Stryker Leadership Academy at Harvard University Business School.

Susan Hofer
Hofer is a newcomer to Nexxt Spine management, having been hired in January for the newly created CPO role. She is responsible for all aspects of talent and human resources as well as the development and execution of new strategies to help the company successfully scale.

Before joining Nexxt Spine, Hofer held multiple human resources leadership roles at Horizon Telcom, Intelligent Fiber Network, and FULLBEAUTY Brands. Hofer earned a bachelor of science degree in human resources management from the University of Colorado, an MBA from Michigan State University, and multiple professional certifications (SHRM-CRP, CCP, DiSC).

Todd Puckett
As COO, Puckett will oversee all aspects of Nexxt Spine’s operations including manufacturing, logistics, and quality. In addition to these roles, Puckett also will be responsible for supervising the footprint expansion of Nexxt Spine’s Noblesville, Ind., headquarters, including the addition of new manufacturing capabilities.

Puckett has held multiple operations leadership roles at Axogen, NuVasive, and Zimmer Biomet. Puckett earned a bachelor of arts degree from Indiana University and a Lean Manufacturing certificate from the University of Michigan.
